Lucas Black’s acting career began at a young age when he was cast in Kevin Costner‘s film “The War” (1994). He subsequently was cast as Caleb Temple in CBS’s television series “American Gothic” (1995–1996) and the films “Ghosts of Mississippi” (1996) and “The X-Files” (1998).

He gained widespread recognition for his role in the film “Sling Blade” (1996), in which he played the role of Frank Wheatley.

In 2006, Black starred in the film “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” as Sean Boswell, a role that he is best known for. He reprised the role in “Furious 7” (2015), “F9” (2021) and “Fast X” (2023). He also starred in the films “Jarhead” (2005), “Friday Night Lights” (2004), “Legion” (2010) and “Get Low” (2009).

From 2014 to 2019, Black starred as Special Agent Christopher LaSalle on CBS’s “NCIS: New Orleans“. He left the show in 2019 after five seasons.
