Gerard Monaco commenced his film career with a role in Mike Leigh’s “Vera Drake” (2004). Subsequently, he appeared in various movies, such as “Starter for Ten” (2006), Dame Jane Campion‘s “Bright Star” (2009) and Jerry Bruckheimer‘s “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” (2011, directed by Rob Marshall)
In the realm of theatre, Monaco achieved a significant milestone with Lindsay Posner’s 2009 revival of Arthur Miller’s “A View From the Bridge“, marking his West End debut as Marco alongside Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Ken Stott, and Hayley Atwell.
